Alrighty, so today was absolutely amazing and I'm beyond exhausted, but I remembered I promised some people a play by play of the day so here we go:

The day started at 9:30 ish when mother dear, Nicole and I went to McDonalds for breaky. After this, the day officially began!

We ventured to good ol' Toronto where we wondered down the streets and looked at all the "high-end" (expensive) stores. We had a few hours to kill before MTV time. In our time killing we decided to go in just to see what it was like... thing is THE PLACE IS ON MAD LOCK DOWN!!! There's a door that looks like a huge mirror (it's a two way mirror so intense security can stare you down before you go in). Apparently we looked lost and some guy offered to help us out. Relevance: This guy is Johnny from MTV News- too bad we didn't realized this until after he left.

2 hours, and 6 sore feet later we went back to MTV studios to wait in what looks like a holding area of a prison. Super sketch: no one talks, hard core security, locks of EVERYTHING! They led us down to the basement (yeah a basement) to do the audition where I found my good buddy (yes we're friends now) Johnny! Haha we chatted for a solid, 3 seconds before he had to run off to do his job... Then it was time for the audition, which really was exactly like the Aftershow. They threw out some topics, we discuss. Then it was done... Oh and while I'm discussing the awesomeness of Ke$ha and what a douchebag John Mayor is, Nicole got to meet PAUL THE INTERN!! Yes I'm jealous, but at least we can say we met celebs today ha ha. Now, TIME FOR SHOPPING!!

Ventured down to the Eaton Centre, to then find Forever XXI... lots of wondering, lots of money spending, lots of energy. We went to the sketchiest pizza place in the food court-- random homeless people asking for money, stupid girl not understanding what we're ordering, pizza that looked like vomit on paper... oh yeah and this "pizza" wasn't cheap. We made multiple laps around the mall till it was time for... FOREVER XXI!!! AHH!!! We get to the motherland of all thing stylish and affordable, shed a tear in happiness, and spent our life savings on their goodness. Ok maybe, not our life savings, but definitely our last paycheck... and then some. Unfortunately we didn't get everything on our Forever XXI wish list, so Nicole and I will have to make a trip back ASAP!

Upon leaving Forever XXI, we made several more laps of the mall, saw an unbelievably attractive guy at Hollister, made some friends in Best Buy and American Eagle, and spend a solid hour looking for the perfect gift for our good friend Steve! After much thoughtful shopping, we found his gift- he'll get it tomorrow...

After purchasing Steven's gift, it was time to go. I mean honestly it's been about 12 hours since we left home! We're tired, and broke!!! We pay for parking again (and I never really appreciated my city till now- THANK YOU WATERLOO FOR THE FREE PARKING!!!!) and ventured back to Waterloo. The GPS (I like to call her Gypsy) took a good 30 minutes to find a signal, so luckily we knew our way back.

Oh and since I forgot about it the past two weeks, and we heard it and "awed" all day, the song of the day is Today was a Fairytale by Taylor Swift. Cutest song ever!!!

So all in all the trip was a huge success!! Made new friends, met celebs, spent all our money, made some memories :) AMAZING!! And whether or not I get this gig with MTV, it was an awesome experience. Best day trip... EVER!!

Now I am beyond exhausted, and I actually need to continue shopping tomorrow morning so good night world :)

xoxo
