Another Term Comes to an End

First of all, here's a question for ya: who came up with daylight savings???
Yes, the concept is a good idea, with getting daylight at the proper times and all that jazz, but really, it screws up your sleep cycle.. LIKE MAD! Ever since day light savings a week ago, I have essentially missed a ton of classes because I can't get into the hang of the new time change...

Secondly, Mr. Al Gore... we need to have a talk about this "global warming" nonsense. If you say global warming, I'm expecting to you know... BE WARM!!! It is spring and it is freezing!! Global Warming as turned out to be the biggest lie of the century... no wonder somebody didn't win his presidential election... just sayin

Anyway, this is the 2nd last week of the school year. And I cannot be happier! It's also officially Spring... you know what that means? Summer's a comin'!

Since this is the end of the school year and the end of a "chapter" so to speak, I guess it's time for a progress report on my New Years goals:
  1. Stick to this blog: so far, I think I've done a pretty good job with keeping up with the blog. Really we all knew I wouldn't update every sing day, but I've been trying to update atl east once a week. This song of the week has been the hardest to stick to. I listen to the same songs over and over so really, there's nothing to really update.
  2. Take a picture a day: this, not gonna lie, has not worked out too well... I keep losing my camera and don't see things good enough to take pictures of. But someone who is dedicated to her photo blog is my friend Kylie: http://findthemissingpiece.blogspot.com/. She's been committed to taking daily pictures, and they're pretty good too.
  3. Reading more books: this has been a bit more successful. I have started at least 3 books and haven't finished any. Today I started The Last Song and so far it's so good! This one I'm going to finish by next Friday. That's a promise.
  4. Letting go: I think this is the concept I've grasped the most. Really, I'm a pro at letting go of stupid people, things, and situations these days... Not even going to get into it, because I'm so over it. WIN!
  5. Be more positive and impact lives: this is been the most important goal of the year, and hopefully for the rest of my life. It's definitely been a process, but it is very successful and rewarding. This is going to be an on going goal. Best life goal I've ever made. :)
I guess this is all for now. Happy Spring-- hopefully it warms up and feels like spring soon :)

xoxo
