Back to the Books

JUST KIDDING!!! I''m totally doing the opposite

I'm totally keeping up with this blog thing, and today is easy. Why? Cuz it's' the first day back at school and I'm doing absolutely nothing!

First class (8:30 am) cancelled due to a very awkward incident, thus leaving me sitting in the library pretending to care when assignments are due.
Second class, boring as sin. Now I'm sitting in the library, looking for jobs (again) and centemplating whether or not to drop the class.

Side note: Listening to the ol' iPod and realized, what ever happened to Aly and AJ?!?!
Song of the day: Like it or Leave It (obviously by Aly and AJ).

--the library smells like foot. MUST. LEAVE.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Goodbye 2010

I DID IT!!!
I officially (sorta, kinda, ish) kept with my blog for an entire 12 months. I've also grown up in this 12 months, and accomplished my goals!!!

Although 2010 was pretty great, and amazing things happened, I'm so pumped for 2011!!! Not gonna lie, I had the best Christmas ever and I can't wait for the next few months...

Stay tuned for next years posts...

In 2010 I will..

One day into 2010 and all is well :). Today down, 364 more to go...

All day I've been hearing/reading/seeing this all day! Some of the plans or resolutions are actually really good ideas, but others are kind of... dumb. I mean hey, if that's what you want to do, go for it. But isn't a resolution supposed to be substantial, not just something, ANYTHING to do?! Maybe the idea of a New Years resolution is different to me. I want my resolution or New Years goal to be something worth while and meaningful, but also something I normally wouldn't do that I will have to push myself to accomplish.

That's why I started this blog. I want to commit to something. I already commit to writing in a journal, but I have a lot of stuff to say, stuff I should say to the "world". With my blog I also plan on taking at least one picture a day as a memory. I might even post some of these pictures on here :D

On a musical note, today Nick Jonas' music video for Who I Am premiered. Now I know most of you claim to hate all things Jonas Brothers, but seriously, hear me out on this one. This is the deepest, most creative Jonas videos ever!! I love Nick Jonas and I LOVE this song!! Not only do the song and video show how talented the youngest JB is, but also how insightful he is.
"I want someone to love me for who I am..."
It's what everyone is thinking, but is too afraid to say; how everyone feels, but is too afraid to show. The video is one of the most artistically beautiful things I've seen in awhile. Everyone wants to be loved for who they are- whoever they are. You've just got to see it and accept them for who they are, no matter what... Another good goal for the new year: acceptance.

If I can keep up with all of this, this is gonna be a good good year!!! :D

Happy 2010 Everyone!!!

It's the first day of the new year! The first day of a new decade!! This year is going to be the first of many things. Example: The start of my new blog.

Now with school, work, and my "busy" life we'll see how this blog actually carries out but hopefully it goes somewhat far. I'll try to post pictures, news, interesting stuff, and obviously recipes.

As for the New Year, I am NOT starting it off with a bang. Haha I am not partying, or doing anything remotely exciting. This is the first time in a few years that I'm just at home relaxing... relaxing and thinking that is. This is also the first year that I'm going to make a legitimate New Years Resolution and try sticking to it. This year I plan to be more positive, and have a positive impact on my life and the lives of people around me. Last year I was such a downwer, so this year is starting fresh.

Although 2009 was amazing, and had many memories, new friendships, awesome experiences, and some major changes (good and bad), it's time to look forward, get on with life, and see where the next year will take me. I'm excited for all the new things to come this year and very excited to start this blog. I'm not sure how often I'll post, but I'll definitely try to stick to it... I guess it's kinda like another resolution: stick to this blog for at least a year! :)

Well "cheers" to the New Year :)
