Book #2: Charlie St. Cloud

Tonight I decided not to go out, but stay in and finish book 2 on my summer list. I was in a rush to read this book because the movie (staring the gorgeous Zac Efron) came out and Friday, and I plan on seeing it today...

Book Number 2 was: Charlie St. Cloud

Clearly I chose this book because Zac Efron is on the cover, and stars in the movie. But really, this book was amazing. It's one of those books you can't put down; I spent the last 2 hours reading over 3/4 of the book. I really can't give away anything because I can't even comprehend how I feel after reading this book. There have been so many emotions, just in the last 20 chapters, let alone the whole book: sadness, sorrow, joy, hope, grief, longing... gosh it was intense. Now that I'm done, I just feel optimistic, on life and everything else.

I'm definitely recommending this book! As for the movie, I'll let you know. But as for books to movie situations go, the books are significantly better than the movie (e.g. The Last Song, and Dear John-- espeicially Dear John!!!)

Watch the trailer (and bask in the beauty that is Zac Efron)

One more book on my summer reading list and 4 weeks to go, I can do it!

May's The Back-Up Plan

Happy May!!!

Twitter is one of the most random social networks out there. Seriously, who wants to know what someone is doing throughout the day. It's a play by play of someone's life. Either way, I am now addicted! I finally figured out how to use my twitter app from my phone, so now I've become a twitter fiend. Look me up, follow me, love me [devy64]. K thanks.

Tonight was date night number, who knows, and we went to see The Back-Up Plan (with JLo). It was great! I love love love romantic comedies and love love LOVE babies! This movie is the best of both worlds :D AAHHH!!! I vote ya'll see it! STAT

Next up is the song of the week. This week's song of the week is old school: MC Hammer's 2 Legit 2 Quit. Fo shiz, this song is too legit to quit! Came on the radio the other day, and I actually had to pull over and jam to it for a solid 5 minutes. LEGIT!

Next, the Justin Bieber music video for Eenie Meenie is out and it is making my life SO MUCH BETTER! Watch that too....

Anywho, enjoy your weekend (and tweet me!)

Eenie Meenie Minee Mo...

So this one's gonna be simple and to the point...

I finished reading The Last Song and it was so good! I actually bawled for the entire ending... it's a good read! I'm so stoked to see the movie next week when it comes out. See the trailer, it looks so cute!

Second, this week's song of the week: another Justin Bieber, Eenie Meenie. This song is so stinking cute. All I can say is I love it! Haha it's been my replay song of the week. But since this week has been pretty stellar, I'll pleasure you with another. Carrie Underwood's Ever Ever After. Another cute one that makes me feel like falling in love :).

That's all for now,
Catch up witcha lata..

Birthdays Weekend Movie Dates

Being crazy busy with school, work, modeling, and eating (yes, in all honesty, this takes up the vast majority of my life...), I decided to go on a movie date with my Bestie :)

Tonight we saw the Lovely Bones. The movie is based on the book by the same name by Alice Sebold. If you haven't read the book, you should. It's intense! The movie is equally intense and moving- not gonna lie, I cried. Again. Unlike most movies that are based on books, this one stays pretty true to the book. AND Mark Wahlberg plays the father soo... Marky Mark as a dad: added bonus.

After the movie date, we went to Starbucks. I honestly never know what drinks to get whenever I go! These drinks are so complicated and there are so many! I think everyone should tell me their favourite Starbucks drink so I can at least try something new. What I do know is their cupcakes are pretty swell, so I bought one for a special friend for his birthday!! :)

Anyway, it's late and I best be off to bed...
