MAG Modeling Competition
Today was the most nerve wracking day of my life! MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! Today I attended my first model search, which I thought I could handle.. hmm...Well my friends from Cameo Models and I went to this model search, and at the exact same moment we were hit with the biggest wave of nerves. We did the runway a few times as "practice" which wasn't a big deal. We decided to leave and go to Starbucks to calm down lol and maybe just get hyper from some coffee... in reality this just made everyone need to pee... badly! But we were still all relatively calm and trying to focus on what we had to do (even tho it was so stinking hot out and our feet hurt in heels).
But then came the legit competition. We were arranged in our age groups, we were all in the same age group, then we realized our age group had the most people.. WTF!? Rebecca Hardy, winner of Canada's Next Top Model cycle 2 (and my new best friend, no big deal) was the judge. I'm not sure if this made me more nervous or not... The fact that we know Rebecca and we're totally cool with her is awesome, but now that she's our judge-- it changes everything.
So we're in line waiting for our turn on the runway and we're getting more nervous by the second! Like nervous to the point of crying and wanting to faint, or vomit or pee my freaking pants!!!
Either way, it's over now (FINALIST!!) and my friends and I are all going to MAG! The big competition for models and actors next month... Hopefully next time our nerves don't get the best of us haha but it'll be a blast :)
